Ponts
Very near from Torrent de Valldans you can find the medieval castle of Ponts, declared Spanish historical heritage. This monument is located in the highest part of the village, and it stands out as one of the historically richest areas of the region. Regardless of its ruinous aspect, there is no doubt that one has to visit it to understand the living history of its walls. On the other side, without forgetting the historical meaning, you can find "La Canónica de Sant Pere", with romanesque style, totally restored, inside and old monastery of great cultural interest.
But Ponts does not live only out of History. Between its narrow streets made of paving stones, and the typical scent of a stock village, there spreads out an ideal place to "get lost", reflect or practice different adventure sports. Due to the proximity of Segre River, it is easy to practice different water sports such as rafting, canoe sailing and even climbing or cliff-descending at El Forat del Buli.
